Friday Jounal

What I did this week:
This week I have not done a whole lot. I have been sick for about two weeks. I have been trying to get all my homework done this week. I have cornell notes and my scrapbook to do for Biology. I then have to finish my power point for English. Then I have to do all my Math homework, and I just got back from the doctors with some medicine to hopefully make me feel better so I can finish all my homework. This week has been pretty rough for me, but hopefully I feel better soon.

Friday Jounal

What I did this week:
This week I went to my brothers track meet. There were 12 schools there. My brothers team did not do so well. The boys got eight, but the girls got third. The track meet was all day long. I think it was eight hours. My brother is very fast. He won almost all of his races. He broke the record in the 200 meter race. The 200 meter race is a half a lap around the track. His time was a 25.13. That beat the record by a half a second. I had fun watching my brother run. Track is now over and he will be starting baseball real soon.

What I did this week:
This week I had conditioning for baseball. We conditioned from Monday through Thursday. It was pretty hard. I was sore for the next few days. Baseball doesn't start for a little while but the school still wants us to be in shape and ready for the season. I am working really hard to get better at it so I can make the team and be a key player.

What I did this week:
This week I went to the beach for Thanksgiving. We stayed there for five days and had a lot of fun. No, we did not go in the water but it still was fun playing football and other games on the beach. For Thanksgiving, my mom made dinner. We had the usual and it was very good. My mom cooked for a long time and it was one of the best dinners I ever had. I enjoyed the break and I am not sure if I am ready to go back to school yet.

What I did this week:
This week I got to go to the Honor Roll breakfast. It was on the 14th of November. While we were down there we were fed and where entertained by two girls who sang for us. It lasted the whole first period. They had candy and other food down in the cafeteria for us. I got a 4.08 on my GPA. You needed to get a 4.0 or higher to be able to go to the breakfast. I had a lot of fun and I hope I make the Honor Roll again.

What I did this week:
This week I learned how to play a new song on my guitar. I learned to play Can't Stop by The Red Hot Chilli Peppers. This song took me about a week to learn. I have been playing the guitar for a little under a year now. I started to play when I broke my spine. I was in a back brace for eight months. I had to wear it 24-7. I am glad I started playing the guitar. Even though I had to brake my back to start.

What I did this week:
This week I practiced with our Varsity football team. The practices are very fun and I learned a lot about football this week. Our Varsity football team played Sea Breeze. We did not win but we played a very good game and never gave up. I have one more week up at Varsity before the season is over. I did not play last week because I am a Freshman, but I hope to get some playing time this week.

This week we had our 9 weeks exam test. I studied very hard for them. I got A's and B's on all of my tests. I got a B in Biology. Biology is my hardest class. After that, our freshman football team played Lake Brantley on Wednesday. We lost, but gave a good fight. That was our last game, but now I am going to play with Varsity the last few games.

This week our English class read the book Hiroshima. The book was about the atomic bomb and the lives of six survivors. It was about how the lives of the survivors changed immediately after the bomb and a while after the bomb. This book really opens your eyes to how serious the bomb was and how it affected the people.

This week our high school football team won our fifth game, making us 5-1. We played Hagerty this week. Our team played one of our best games we have ever played. The score was 42-0. That was the most points we have scored in one game the whole season. Our next game we play Seminole. Last time we played them we lost 19-0. Seminole is our only loss so we are going to make sure we do not lose to them again. This time we'll be ready!

Friday Jounal

This week our football team played Oviedo. Oviedo was 4 - 0. If we were to lose to Oviedo we would have been out of the running for 1st place. We came in there ready to play. We beat them 23 - 7. Our team played very well. Our record is now 4 - 1. Now we are getting ready to play Hagerty. The practices never stop. We should be able to beat Hagerty and then we play Seminole again, but this time we'll be ready!

This week our football team played Winter Springs. We have been working really hard ever since our lose to Seminal. So this week were ready. We played very well against them. The score was 27-20. We all played very well and worked as a team to beat them. Now that the game is over, we are getting ready to play Oviedo. Wish us luck.

For my first period, I have a computer class called CCC. We have been learning the keyboard, and will later be learning harder things. This week i typed 56 words a minute. I know most of you can type faster than that, but i have never learned how to type so that is very good for me. My goal for next week is to type 65 words a minute. Wish me luck!

This week in school I learned all about the theater. For my elective, I am in stagecraft. Stagecraft is a fun elective. Every week we learn something new about the theater. Like this week, we learned about different kinds of stages. Soon we will be helping build sets for the next play this year. I do not know what the next play is, but I'm sure it will be a good one.

Friday Journal

This week my school's football team played Lake Howell. We played very well. Our team won 13-0. Our defence got its second shut out in a row. Our team is now 2-0. I am very excited about playing Lake Brantley next. It will be a good game!
