What I did this week:
This week was our Spring Jamboree Football game. We played Winter Springs on Friday night. We lost to them but played a good game. I played quarterback for the varsity quarters. The Winter springs defense is very good. We trying to run the ball but did not had a lot of success. So we started to pass the ball and scored. We scored on one play that was a 70 yard pass. That was a good feeling to score on them. Even though we did not win, we have come a long way from the start of the spring to now. We still need so work, but I think we're going to a pretty good team.

Friday Journal
What I did this week:
This week on Friday was the Red and Grey game. It lasted for about an hour or so. I had a lot of fun. It wasn't really a game though; it was the offense playing the defense. JV played JV defense and Varsity played Varsity Defense. Our team looked pretty good but we still have some work to do. Our spring game is next Friday against Winter Springs. I hear they are pretty good but I think we can compete and it should be a good game.

Friday Journal
What I did this week:
This week I presented my power point in my first period class, CCC. CCC is computer for college and career. Each of us were assigned a state to research and then we put that information on power points. My state was Arizona. Arizona was a very interesting state and I learned a lot form this project. I am not sure what I got on the project but I think I did a pretty good job. Hopefully she graded them already and I can see what I got. I was not sure exactly how to use the power point, but this project showed my all the tricks I needed to know to make an effective power point.

Friday Journal
What I did this week:
This week, we had football practice all week. Instead of having practice on the usual field, we had it in the stadium. They did not tell us why we had our practice in the stadium but I think it was because we had a lot of scouts from colleges looking at our practices and coming to see some of our player. Their were a lot of scouts their; our offense looked pretty good. We had a scrimmage and scored three touchdowns. That was a good practice. I hope we practice up their again on Monday.

Friday Journal
What I did this week:
This week in our CCC class, we took a test made by SCC. This test was on formatting letters and reports correctly. This test took two days and each day we typed about two reports. If we do well on this test, we could be able to get scholarship money for college, and we will get a college credit. I did very well on this test. I only had one mistake on all of the reports out of both days. Now, we are working on a power point it that class. it must be 25 slides for an A on the project. I have 3 right now. I guess I have to get started!

Friday Journal
What I did this week:
This week conditioning started for football. The practice was about two hours long and it was very hot outside. First we did so drills to help us improve at the position we plan on playing. Then the offense got together and we went over formations. We have a lot of different formations and a lot of plays to remember. After that we did conditioning for about 30 to 40 minutes. A lot of people were tired during the conditioning and some people threw up after practice. It was a good first practice. I was surprised how many people came out to try out. I hope we can have a successful season this year.

What I did this week:
This week our football team got pads. We got our shoulder pads and our helmets. I got very good pads for the football season because I was one of the first people to pick. Practice starts soon and I'm ready. Baseball season just ended and I am going to play over the summer. I am also going to play football over the summer. I haven't played football for a while because I have been playing baseball, so I need to start playing so I can start. It's going to be a busy break, but it's going to be fun.

Friday Journal
What I did this week:
This week, for the first time in my life, I went golfing. I went with a few friends. It was very hard. The professionals make it seem so easy on T.V. The first time I swung and missed the ball. Then, as we played, I got better and learned how to control the ball.
I also had a baseball game on Friday. We played Deltona. Last time we played them, we lost 13-2. This time we when there ready to play. In the first inning, we got 3 runs. Then they came up to bat and scored 6. After that inning, we ran the score up all the way to 13-6. We won the game and felt very good about it because they beat us last time.

Friday Journal
What I did this week:
This weekend was Easter. I when down south to my Grandma's place. When I got there on Saturday, we went swimming and have a lot of fun. On Easter we all had a great time and had a big dinner. My Grandma still likes to think that me and my brother are still 5 years old. She put out eggs all over the house and we went and looked for them. I guess its a tradition no matter how old we are. I had a lot of fun and I am glad we had off of school on Friday. Tomorrow is back to school though and I have a baseball game against Lake Howell.

What I did this week:
This week I took the . FCAT I have never taken it before, but it seemed pretty easy. It was very long. It took us four hours for two days to take the test. There was nothing to do once you were done but to read a book. It was not very fun and I am glade it is over. Now we have to take a different test that test you for reading and math and compares you to kids all over the nation. Hopefully it does not take as long as the FCAT but I guess we'll find out next week.

Friday Journal
What I did this week:
This week our baseball team played Lyman. We lost 6-2 but played a good game. I hit the ball off the fence for a double and later that inning scored the first run of the game. Our record is now 6-2. We had 3 games this week, but 2 of them were canceled due to the weather. Up next we have Winter Springs which we have already played and won 2-1. Hopefully we can beat them again so they'll stop talking trash! I know a lot of kids on that team and they always say they are going to beat us. If our team hits the ball well, I know we will win.

Friday Journal
What I did this week:
This week our baseball team played Seminole. The first time we played them, we won 6-3. This time we played them we won 12-4. We played very well that game. It seemed like everybody that got up to bat hit the ball. We played very well in the field too. I don't think we made any errors. That was a good game. We only got to the 5th inning because a bad storm was coming and it was to dangerous for us to be playing. I think this was our best performance out of all the games. I hope we can carry this momentum over to the next game against Oviedo.

What I did this week:
This week our baseball team had 3 games in 3 days. The first team we played was Seminole. We beat the 6-3. That game was very fun for our team. Everybody got to play and everyone hit the ball. Our next game was against Winter Springs. We beat the 4-2. That was a good game. You didn't know who was going to win until it was over. Our Third game of the week was against Brantley. We lost to them 2-1. We were winning the whole game and they came back in the last inning and won. I believe we should have beat them but that is how it ended up. Our record now is 3-1. I hope that that will be our only lose the whole season.

What I did this week:
This week I went on a retreat with my church. The retreat started Friday night and ended Sunday afternoon. During the retreat we talked about of faith and played games. We played basketball and football and had a lot of fun. We got to play against college kids in basketball. They were pretty good but we had all been playing with eachother for our whole lives. We beat them Every time we played them. This may have taken up my whole weekend but I had a lot of fun.

What I did this week:
This week my baseball had a 9 Inning game. It started at 5:00 and ended at 8:00.Played against ourselves but we still kept score. My team won the game. I played very well and my team worked well together. From what I saw this week in practice and in the nine inning game, our time is looking very good and it looks like we will have a good season this year.

Friday Jounal
What I did this week:
This Saturday I went to a funeral. I have known My friend Nick since 1st grade. On January 13, his father pasted away. This Saturday I went to his funeral. Nick's dad was a doctor. He delivered over 10,000 babies throughout his life. His dad was always helping others. He was a great man and a great influence on Nick and his brother and sister. I feel very sorry for my friend. It must be very hard to go through this. My family has told them that we are here for them and that he will always be in our prayers.

What I did this week:
This week was tryouts for baseball. The tryouts lasted about four days plus the 3 weeks of conditioning. There were a lot of kids at the tryouts. About forty kids were there. The tryouts were about two to three hours long each day. At the tryout, we hit fielded and showed of our arms. Out of the forty kids who were out there, coach was only going to keep 18. I and 17 other players made the team. Everyone else was cut and had to go home. Coach called each player over one by one and told them why they made the team or why they didn't. Our first real practice was on Saturday. That practice was about four hours long but was very fun. I feel luck to have made the team because so many people got cut.
